Activities in the campground and Local Events

Sept. 1 - ATV Ride meet at 9 AM at the clubhouse - HANCOCK PASS Bring your ATV, or rent one in town, and join us for a ride on local trails. 

Sept. 4 - 3pm - Ice Cream Social in the Clubhouse $2/person.  All the Ice Cream you can eat

Sept. 4  - 4pm - Fire Truck Rides in an original 1927 fire truck

Sept. 4 - 7:00 - 9:30 PM - Campfire and Sing-a-long - Bring your lawnchairs, marshmallows, and musical instruments if you have them and join in on the fun. 

Sept 5, 12, 19, 26 - Farmers Market at the Turner Farm

Sept. 6 - 8 - 9:30 AM - Breakfast - Bring the family and join us for a good Pancake & Sausage Breakfast.  $4.00 per person

Sept. 7 - 7pm - Family Bingo in the Clubhouse. Bring a candy bar.  Everyone Welcome!

Sept. 8 - 6pm Potluck in the Clubhouse

Sept 10-12  - Independent Film Festival The highest film festival in the world salutes movie stars with screenings and suprise guests.  www.independentFilmFest.com

Sept. 10 - 7:00 - 9:30 PM - Campfire and Sing-a-long - Bring your lawnchairs, marshmallows, and musical instruments if you have them and join in on the fun. 

Sept. 11  - 4pm - Fire Truck Rides in an original 1927 fire truck

Sept. 11 - Cemetery Tour - Alsina Dearheimer, mother of Buena Vista will introduce you to some of BV'S colorful characters. Meet at Mt. Olivet cemetery. Tour begins at 7pm. Cost is $8.00.

Sept 11 - Madams of Central Colorado-At the BV Court House at 7pm. This is a fundraiser for BV Heritage. Come sit in the parlor and hear about the life and times or theseracey madams. Cost is $15, not suitable for childre under 13. For reservations call 719-395-8458. www.buenavistaheritage.org

Sept 11 - Apple Fest - An old time country fair at the Turner Farm. Entertainment and old time demos. Pie contest. www.buensvistaheritage.org

Sept 22-25 - ATV Historical Color Tour - Bring your own ATV and ride various trails and visit historic area in the midst of autumn's grand colors. Register on line at www.coloradoatvtour.org
