EVERY SUNDAY! - Aug 1, 8, 15, 22 &29 - Farmers Market at Turner Farm

August 1 - 8am to 9:30am - Breakfast in the Clubhouse. No need to cook this morning, let us do it for you! $4.00 per person

August 1 - 10:00am - Bible Study

August  2 - ATV Ride Location TBA - Sign up in the club house

August 3 - 11:30am - Ladies Lunch at Buffalo Bar & Grill. Sign up in clubhouse.

August 3 - 7pm - Family Bingo in the Clubhouse. Bring Small gift in a brown bag.  Everyone Welcome!

August 4 - 1pm - Crafts in the Clubhouse with Lynnis. Nominal fee could apply

August 5 - 10:00am - Craft - Soap making class at Creative Workshops

Aug 5 - Final Concert in the Park - Forest Square Park, outside Chamber.  Bring your own chair.

Aug 6-7 --Relay for Life - American Cancer Society's benefit at the High School.  Contact Lisa Rassenti 719-630-4971

August 6 - 7pm - Campfire and Music - Bring your lawnchairs, marshmallows, and musical instruments if you have them and join in on the fun.

Aug 7 -St. Elmo Restoration Auction - Antiques and collectibles, sale benifits Historic Building, 719-395-8458 for info.

August 7 - 8am to 1pm - Garage Sale.  "One Man's Trash is another Man's Treasure" - Bring those treasures to the clubhouse by 7:30 am and we'll set up tables to share our wealth with others. Make sure to have your items marked with your name and price

August 8 - 8am to 9:30am - Breakfast in the Clubhouse. No need to cook this morning, let us do it for you! $4.00 per person

August 8 - 10:00am - Bible Study

August 8 - Cemetery Tour - Alsina Dearheimer, mother of Buena Vista will introduce you to some of BV'S colorful characters. Meet at Mt. Olivet cemetery. Tour begins at 7pm. Cost is $8.00.

August 9 -  Pulled Pork Potluck - Gene & Johanna are smoking pork shoulder for all.  Iced Tea and lemonade will be provided.  Bring a side dish to share and anything else you might want to drink.  Join us for good food and fellowship.   

August 10 - ATV Ride - Bring your ATV, or rent one in town, and join us for a ride on local trails.  The trail will be chosen based on the abilities of the riders who sign up, so sign up early in the clubhouse.

August 10 - 7pm - Family Bingo in the Clubhouse. Bring a candy bar.  Everyone Welcome!

August 11 - 1pm - Crafts in the Clubhouse with Lynnis.  Nominal charge could apply.

Aug 12-15-- Continental Trail Rock and Gem Show Collectors Paradise. Over 100 booths, Merchants countrywide gather at Rodeo Grounds to sell swap and show rocks, minerals and gems. For booth space call 303-833-2939

August 13  - 7pm - Campfire and Music - Bring your lawnchairs, marshmallows, and musical instruments if you have them and join in on the fun.

Aug 14-15-- Gold Rush Days - Step back in time to Colorado's gold rush days. Gold panning, gun fights, square dance lessons, Burro race with athletic or citizens, duck races with $1000 prize money. Over 100 vendors, beer garden, and kiddie rides.  719-395-6612

August 14 - 3pm - Ice Cream Social in the Clubhouse. All the ice cream you can eat with toppings! $2 per person.

August 14 - 4pm - Fire Truck Rides in an original 1927 fire truck

Aug 14 - Madams of Central Colorado-At the Tabor Opera house in Leadville  at 7pm. This is a fundraiser for BV Heritage. Come sit in the parlor and hear about the life and times of these racey madams. Cost is $15, not suitable for childre under 13. For reservations call 719-395-8458. www.buenavistaheritage.org

Aug 21-22 -- King Boletus Mushroom Festival. Learn to forage and cook mushrooms. Call 719-395-8458 for details.

August 28 - 3pm - Ice Cream Social in the Clubhouse. $2 per person for all the ice cream you can eat!

Aug 21 - Buena Vista Canine Classic - Frisbee dog and dog agility competitions. Saturday evening BBQ, live music and Dog demos. Benifits Ark Valley Humane Society.  www.BVK9Classic.com
